Gene discovery: new genes

Results of BLASTX analysis against protein databases. We have divided matches in the following categories:

The information is presented in a non-redundant form (matches to the same or similar database entries have been merged together). A full table (redundant) can be downloaded in spreadsheet (MS Excel, .xls, 124Kbytes) format.

Summary of the information for each sequence

All sequences have been subjected to similarity searches against different databases, to testcode evaluation of their coding potential, and to a pattern search using fuzznuc to detect the T. cruzi spliced leader. A summary of the results for each sequence is available.
